What feedback will I receive after each SCA consultation?
You will receive supportive patient-perspective feedback on how the consultation was experienced, including rapport, clarity, reassurance and involvement. You will also receive an AvatarJo Rapport Score™ to support reflection.
Can I review my consultation after the session?
Yes. Your session video and transcript are included, so you can review your performance yourself or share it with your GP trainer or educational supervisor. Transcript annotation is also included to make key moments easier to identify.
Can SCA practice help me feel more confident and ready?
Realistic, timed practice can reduce uncertainty and help you become more familiar with managing a case within 12 minutes. The feedback, recording and transcript give you clearer evidence of what is working and what you may want to review before exam day.
Is This Service Suitable for Me?
Is this suitable if I am taking the SCA for the first time?
Yes. The service is suitable for first-time candidates who want realistic experience of the timing, patient interaction and pressure of an SCA-style consultation before the assessment.
Is this suitable for SCA re-takers?
Yes. Retakers can use the session to practise specific challenges, request case types they have not had access to and gain additional patient-perspective feedback. An independent TPD review is also available for an additional fee.
Is this suitable if I feel anxious or underprepared?
Yes. The sessions are designed to be supportive and non-judgemental. You can practise safely, make mistakes and build familiarity without the pressure of the real exam. Flexible online booking also makes it easier to fit practice around your training schedule.
