Safe, friendly and realistic

AvatarJo’s simulated patient consultations are delivered by trained professional role-play actors, not automated or AI-generated simulations.

Each student engages in a live, one-to-one video consultation with an actor role as the patient who responds dynamically to the student’s ability whilst giving consideration to any pre submitted learning objectives or personal confidence rating.

Students consistently describe the experience as supportive, welcoming, realistic, and psychologically safe.

Designed for Universities

Universities face increasing pressure to provide high-quality simulated and practice-based learning without adding demand on placements, teaching space, or staff time. AvatarJo offers a fully remote experience without the hassle or organising anything. And provides a  live dashboard showing bookings, feedback, student and patient experience ratings and confidence data.

Skilled feedback

AvatarJo feedback is never coaching or advice.

Actors express how communication was experienced from the patient’s perspective, using examples of verbal and non-verbal communication.
