Sarah is a passionate and animated advocate for all things 'doing'. A professional theatre director, NLP Practitioner, Agile Coach and Associate Lecturer at Falmouth University. Sarah will apply her creative curiosity to your challenges and create a plan of action quicker than Graham Norton would tip you out of that chair!
Peter left the Royal Navy to study creative writing at Falmouth University. Now taking charge of telling the story of AvatarJo in all its diverse forms, whilst accumulating a host of rich material from the real life scenarios that our clients and actors practice every day. Peter also enjoys the company policy of taking surf and sea breaks when conditions are good.
Tammy is our 'casting director', she makes sure our clients get the best actor for the job. She's good at this because she knows all our services inside out and will go to great lengths to make sure each and every session runs perfectly. Also a talented role-play actor herself, she is well equipped to help clients write brilliant scenarios to bring maximum authenticity to any conversation that is practised via an AvatarJo session.
Chrissie delivers a masterclass in role-play every time she does a session with a client. That is why Chrissie is in charge of recruitment and session standards. Only the highest calibre of actors pass the audition process and get to train via our unique role-play actors training course under the caring and watchful eye of Chrissie. You can also spot on her on Doc Martin.
Jane is pretending to be retired, whilst being a volunteer and trustee at Cornwall Hospice Care. Jane has over 40 years’ experience in developing leaders and organisations as a trainer, coach and organisational development consultant. Her kind and powerful insights are expertly backed up by an MBA Masters in Business Administration and considerable knowledge in Neuro Linguistic Programming. We fondly call her our Yoda.
Design and Marketing Assistant
Traimaine is currently in her 3rd year at Falmouth University studying graphic design. After making a great impression on her two month work placement this summer, we couldn't let her go. She's supporting us, in all things graphic design and bringing a youthful understanding to our social media strategy.
Jonathan trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School where he was awarded the Newton Blick Award, Patricia Routledge Bursary and was a finalist in the BBC Carleton Hobbs Award. He has trained performers and professionals at the Scottish Storytelling Centre, the BBC and BOVTS Workshop and enjoys helping people communicate effectively, efficiently and collaboratively. He's fluent in Spanish and Italian and also runs a monthly alternative comedy cabaret night in East London!
Alex is AvatarJo’s User Experience Caretaker. He looks after the user experience from both client and actor point-of-view. He works with creativity, warmth and playfulness to bring projects to life and loves that his job has allowed him to travel to places far and wide. Originally trained as an actor in Manchester, Alex also works as a Freelance Editor, having previously worked for the BBC and ITV among others.
Web Application Developer
Based in Plymouth, Sioned has a bachelors degree in computing and masters degree in Digital Art and Technology from Plymouth University and am now working towards a PhD.
Sioned is a local activist and has been involved in many campaigns local to Plymouth. Being routinely involved in community projects and voluntary work within the local community is another string to Sioned's bow, who has had an installation in a local art festival.
Beth has been an integral part to the success and growth of AvatarJo. Having project managed the creation of new services in partnership with the NHS, to fine tuning our recruitment and training processes. Beth is now enjoying her time working as a full time professional actor, whom occasionally we manage to coax back to help us add a touch of magic to the client experience.
Matt is a GP at Three Spires Medical Practice in Truro, Cornwall. He has worked with us to develop the first via video CSA practice service. Our working partnership was initiated by a grant from EPIC, the e-health fund. We are hoping to secure more funds to keep his expertise flowing into our GP Trainee CPD offer.
